Terms of Purchase

Welcome to PetGoodsNest. These Terms of Purchase apply to all orders placed through our online store, including products in our Dog Supplies, Litter Boxes, and Cat Supplies collections.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms, together with our Privacy Notice, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Terms of Service.

1. Customer Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have reached the legal age required in your jurisdiction.
  • You are legally permitted to enter into a purchase agreement.
  • The information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • The products may be legally purchased and imported into your destination.

We may retain customer-service communications where permitted by law for quality control, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.

2. Privacy and Payment Security

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

Payments are processed through Shopify and authorized third-party payment providers. PetGoodsNest does not normally store complete card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.

By placing an order, you authorize us and our service providers to process the information required to verify payment, fulfill the order, arrange delivery, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

3. Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance.

PetGoodsNest may refuse, limit, or cancel an order when:

  • A product is out of stock
  • Payment cannot be verified
  • The price contains an obvious error
  • The shipping information is incomplete
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
  • Fulfillment is unavailable for the destination
  • The order violates our store policies

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

4. Prices and Promotions

Prices, product availability, discount codes, and promotional offers may change at any time before an order is completed.

Promotional offers may be subject to:

  • Expiration dates
  • Minimum purchase requirements
  • Product or customer restrictions
  • Regional limitations
  • One-time-use conditions
  • Rules preventing combination with other discounts

The price displayed and confirmed during checkout is the amount charged, except in cases of an obvious pricing or technical error.

5. Pricing Errors

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate prices, but technical or administrative errors may occasionally occur.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may:

  • Contact you to confirm the correct price
  • Remove the affected item
  • Cancel the order
  • Refund any payment already received

We are not required to fulfill an order at a clearly mistaken price.

6. Product Information

We aim to present product descriptions, images, colors, dimensions, materials, and specifications as accurately as possible.

However, minor differences may occur because of:

  • Screen settings
  • Product photography
  • Manual measurements
  • Manufacturing tolerances
  • Production batches
  • Packaging or design updates

Customers should review all product details before ordering, especially size, materials, variation options, and package contents.

7. Pet Suitability and Product Use

Customers are responsible for deciding whether a product is suitable for their pet and intended use.

Suggested size, breed, age, or weight recommendations are general guidance only. Every pet may differ in body shape, behavior, activity level, and personal preference.

Products should be used according to their intended purpose and any instructions provided. Adult supervision may be required for toys, elevated products, window-mounted products, feeding accessories, grooming tools, and items containing small parts.

PetGoodsNest is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, lack of supervision, unsuitable installation, or unauthorized modification.

8. Inventory and Delivery

Stock information is provided as an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Most orders are processed within up to three business days. After dispatch, standard international delivery generally takes approximately 10–20 business days.

Delivery times may be affected by customs, weather, public holidays, carrier delays, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.

Orders containing multiple products may be shipped separately and may arrive on different dates.

9. International Orders and Customs

International customers are responsible for confirming that ordered products can be legally imported into their destination.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the customer is responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT or GST
  • Brokerage fees
  • Customs clearance charges
  • Other government-imposed costs

These charges are determined by the destination country and are not controlled by PetGoodsNest.

10. Shipping Information

Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address, telephone number, and email address.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information entered during checkout.

Requests to change an address or order details should be submitted as soon as possible to support@petgoodsnest.com. Changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has started.

11. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted before the order enters active processing or shipment preparation.

Once a package has been dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.

Returns, refunds, and replacements are governed by our Return Policy. Purchases are generally final except where an item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, missing, or incorrectly fulfilled.

Products must not be returned without prior written authorization.

12. Fraud and Payment Disputes

We may review orders for suspected fraud, payment abuse, unauthorized activity, or policy violations.

Additional verification may be requested before fulfillment. Failure to provide requested information may result in delay or cancellation.

Before submitting a chargeback or payment dispute, customers should contact support@petgoodsnest.com so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

13. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, PetGoodsNest is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by:

  • Improper use
  • Incorrect installation
  • Pet behavior
  • Failure to supervise
  • Customer sizing errors
  • Customs delays
  • Carrier delays outside our control
  • Failure to follow product instructions

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Purchase are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the customer’s place of residence.
